NPPF Is committed to Peacebuilding strategies. NPPF focuses on activism, resistance and social Justice conflict resolution and peacebuilding research. NPPF advocate for peace building and conflict Resolution in East Africa (Ethiopia, Egypt, Somalia, Rwanda and especially in Sudan) and globally.
Our vision is to support the creation of peaceful collaboration across communities while developing projects that are beneficial for South Sudanese communities globally.
One of the ways we do that is creating a platform in educating our YOUTH in peaceful dialogue. It is our commitment to increase the number of youth participating in their communities across the globe leading dialogue sessions and working towards a common goal for a more Just and Peaceful World.
We strongly believe that the Key to future Peacebuilding is our young people. Our participatory approach is our YOUTH. Young People are powerful agents for resolving, preventing conflict and sustainable peace.
The pathways for peace must be a joint and collaborative effort on all sides. We know that Peace agreement remains largely unimplemented, though the violence has also subsided. South Sudan gained independence from Sudan in 2011 – yet there remains chronic instability.
The country saw a bitter civil war between 2013 and 2018, which left nearly 400,000 dead and millions displaced.
What we are saying is that Peace Building calls for broader partnerships and systematized engagement and collaboration with civil society including women and youth groups and local communities at large.
We teach Youth:
Confliction Resolution training in areas
Of Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation
Our goal is to promote an innovative, value-based approach to peace building guided by a vision of the future for our Children.
